About PhillyLovesBowieWeek

We can be heroes, just for one day. Or make that TEN DAYS! Join us January 5-14, 2018 as Philadelphia once again shows its love for David Bowie night after night after glorious night. Over a dozen activities will be happening across the city to celebrate and remember a man who changed the world.

A Bowie Silent Auction

As we near the 3rd annual Philly Loves Bowie Week, January 4-13 2019, one of the coolest events is actually within another cool event: A Night of Stardust! This is our pinnacle event within #PhillyLovesBowie week as musicians from around the region gather within the hallowed halls of Union Transfer to celebrate David Bowie the best way possible … in song.

This event performs to a full house each year and 2019 will be no exception – so be sure to get your tickets NOW!

But, as for that event within the event, it’s our annual Bowie Silent Auction – where all the monies raised will go to the Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, in memory of David Bowie. The Bowie Silent Auction takes place inside the front lobby of Union Transfer the night of the concert — doors to the venue open at 7pm and the silent auction closes around 9:30pm (during the intermission between the two performance sets).

Here’s JUST A SAMPLING of what you can expect to see (and hopefully bid on) at the Bowie Silent Auction – part of A Night of Stardust – Friday January 11, 2019 at Union Transfer:

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our winner – Olivier Jourdanet – who was selected over two dozen design entries for the 2019 #PhillyLovesBowie week … best of all, Olivier demonstrates the global love for David Bowie, as he resides in France! Rock On!
